This is a great project for beginners and a simple, but classy, holiday gift.

Supplies:

• One yard each of two complimenting fabrics.

• Cording for the handle if you don't want to use fabric.

• Two decorative buttons.

• Sewing machine, scissors, seam ripper, needle and thread.

• Fabric marker – disappearing when ironed would be helpful (one will be available).

Nob Hill Fabrics will have a cutting board available to cut your fabric into two (precise) 24 inch squares (however, if you want to save time, you can pre-cut your squares prior to class). An ironing board is also available.
