After the Fiesta Fashion Show
Sunday, June 4th, 2:00pm - 5:00pm 

We want to see your handmade creations in person.  Wear your best work and strut your stuff.
This will be the most informal fashion show in the history of fashion shows.
No entry fees, no judging, just a good time, fabric discounts and maybe some snacks.

And for a real fashion experience, Santa Fe Fashion Week is coming up fast...
June 8th, 9th and 10th at the Drury Plaza with a VIP reception on the 7th.
This event has grown every year and now features three Project Runway alumni.

Atelier Danielle of Santa Fe will present her collection of high end, luxurious textiles
from around the world.  These select pieces will be available for purchase for a limited 
time only!

ON THE EDGE – Appliqué Quilting Day

Each year Museum of International Folk Art (MOIFA) and the Española Valley Fiber Arts Center 
(EVFAC) collaborate on an event that enables collaboration between local and international 

This year they have designed On the Edge, a day of demonstrations, hands-on practicing and 
discussion and will focus exclusively on appliqué, entailing both hand and machine methods.

"On the Edge", will take place on Monday July 10th from 10am to 4pm and will be packed with 
presentations, demonstrations and offer time to practice hands-on skills focused exclusively 
on appliqué. Three facilitators Brenda Grauer, Nadina Barnes, Trish Spillman will guide you 
in a shared learning experience. The day is FREE to all participants and lunch and beverages 
will be provided.

Participation is limited to 20 quilters from the region, who:
    Utilize appliqué techniques in their work and can share their skills
    Have a keen interest in learning the various methods
    Are willing to teach the learned skills in the guilds or stores.

Right now please RSVP your space and nominate one person from your community, so that they can 
place you on the participation list, and email you the detailed program closer to the date.

Saturday Morning Sewing 101

Pillowcases?  Leggings?  Pretty dresses?  Boxers?  Pick from one of the many projects
on our list or come up with your own.  Joan or Sarah will take you from pattern to 
finished product.  

Saturday mornings: 10:00am-12:30pm

         $35 per class, purchase 4 classes in advance and get a 5th class FREE!
         We will also give a 10% student discount on any fabric purchased during
         a class.
