NOVEMBER

"Ribbonwork"

Time: 2:00 - 4:00
Cost: $30, all ribbon supplies are provided.

Ribbonwork is the art of creating standalone flowers and leaves with all
sorts of ribbon. In fact, almost anything in your garden can be done with
ribbon. It is not to be confused with ribbon embroidery which is woven on
fabric. Ribbonwork can be used on clothing, quilts, hats, purses and photo
albums to name just a few. Christmas is coming! This fine art dates back
to Renaissance times and was also very popular in the 1920’s and 30’s.
Florals will always be style.
